David Mamet’s new play Race, which opened at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre on December 6, offers an adrenaline-filled ride through the touchy subject matter of color, gender, ethnicity and class. Stars James Spader, David Alan Grier, Kerry Washington and Richard Thomas took their opening-night bows before an audience filled with celebs cheering them on.
