Broadway’s Race Gets a Starry Red Carpet on Opening Night

David Mamet’s new play Race, which opened at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre on December 6, offers an adrenaline-filled ride through the touchy subject matter of color, gender, ethnicity and class. Stars James Spader, David Alan Grier, Kerry Washington and Richard Thomas took their opening-night bows before an audience filled with celebs cheering them on. After the performance, the stars and their famous well-wishers headed to the Redeye Grill to gab about the play and celebrate the man who wrote and directed it. Take a look!
